Acco Brands, Millennium House

Quercus was appointed to manage both the CAT A and CAT B fit-outs at Millennium House in Aylesbury.

The Landlord tasked us with elevating the building’s EPC rating to B and implementing a full M&E upgrade alongside a CAT A fit-out to achieve a Carbon Neutral certification.

The building was also to be subdivided for lease to two separate companies, for whom we completed the CAT B fit-outs.

ACCO’s Space Requirements:

ACCO acquired the 3rd, 4th, and part of the 1st floor, with Quercus entrusted to transform these spaces. The aim was to design a bright, collaborative work environment to encourage staff to return to the office post-pandemic.

Creating a Collaborative Workspace

We developed a range of features to foster a dynamic and social work environment, including:

  • Collaborative meeting rooms equipped with AV technology and modern furniture.
  • A large communal tea point to promote social interaction.
  • Mini tea points on each floor for added convenience.
  • A flexible, modern office layout designed to support hot-desking and agile workstations, allowing the company to grow organically.

Project Delivery

From the initial CAT A strip-out to the final CAT B handover, the Quercus team oversaw and managed every aspect of the project, ensuring a seamless and successful transformation of the space.
